Edwin Appiah is an early stage investor, board member and former Coutts International Banker, advising more than 100 owner manager businesses across the UK, Europe and the Americas.
He is a founding General Partner at Cornerstone VC, an early stage fund focused on a ‘people first’ investment strategy, investing at pre-seed and seed stage tech businesses led by diverse teams in the UK. Edwin currently serves as an investment committee member of Imperial College’s Enterprise Fund II and represents Cornerstone as an investor on the Development Bank of Wales Investment Forum (Angels Invest Wales) which supports businesses incorporating or relocating to Wales.

Edwin is an active angel investor, Co Founder and former investment director of Cornerstone Partners Angel Network, a one of it’s kind angel syndicate which backs exceptional black and diverse founders across the UK.
