Wilfred has worked in strategic consultancy at KPMG, in investment banking at UBS, Goldman Sachs, and in private banking at Lloyds Bank amongst other firms. Wilfred is a NED, and early-stage tech Investor with extensive experience in B2B Software, Business Services and E-Commerce.
Wilfred is also an ex-Banker with over 12 years serving institutional clients in operations and serves as a Board Observer at a leading LSE Listed Private Equity firm in the UK.
Wilfred holds board observer, board adviser, and non-executive director roles at a number of Cornerstone’s investee companies, in services, consumer brands, and peer to peer Content Platforms.
He has a background across capital markets, asset management and management consulting across multiple programs which have led to successfully mobilising and managing complex, business change operational transformations at UBS Investment Bank, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, whilst at KPMG LLP as a Managing Consultant.
He is a co-founder of Cornerstone Partners a leading UK angel network focused on seed stage investments backing exceptional black and diverse founders. Cornerstone Partners has invested over £1.4m over the last few years. He is also General Partner at Cornerstone Venture Capital (VC), a £20m seed stage fund investing in Diverse UK Tech founders.
